Brain Dead’s Oakley Factory Team Reveals Their Fall/Winter 2024 Slate

Brian Dead and Oakley staked their flag in the footwear world more than two years ago by announcing a joint venture, the Oakley Factory Team. Kicking off with a reissue of the cult-favorite Oakley Flesh, the imprint has since landed two annual collections every year since. After the Spring/Summer offerings we covered back in March, they’re delivering a fresh set of four pairs for Fall/Winter 2024.

The Flesh makes two natural appearances here as the true standout in the Oakley footwear catalog. First up is a suede edition, delivering the “extraterrestrial” motif of the collection with gel slits throughout its iconic curvilinear upper panels. From there, the model turns off the lights, emerging with jet-black overtones interrupted by Digi-camo print on jagged jacquard sections on the sidewalls.

A Factory Team invention, the Edge Boot carries over its sole unit from the Chop Saw but utilizes authentic hiking tooling on the eye-stays and nubuck panels. Lime green pull tabs and typical breathable mesh at the lateral midfoot ensure the same gorpcore sensibilities that Oakley has majored in, especially with this tan and black arrangement. The Chop Saw itself closes out the capsule, also sporting a dose of jacquard fabric on its upper. The olive notes of that textile are contrasted with sky-blue laces and complemented with steely graphite trim down the throat and underfoot.

The Oakley Factory Team Fall/Winter collection releases on October 29th via WEAREBRAINDEAD.com and in-store locations, as well as Oakley.com, select in-store locations and partnering stockists.
