Notre and Vans are back at it. Minting their collaborative relationship with a take on the Old Skool back in 2018, the duo’s work now spans three distinct collections released on a biannual basis. For those keeping score, that means we’re due for another chapter, and right on time, they’re unveiling three pairs set to drop on November 15th (update: they’re available now on Notre here).

The duo’s shared signature, remodeling the Sidestripe to an elongated handshake, remains the centerpiece of each design. First up is the Vans Rowley XLT LX, leaning into the resurgence of chunky skate styles and adding to a recent spate of collaborative efforts featuring the likes of Gallery Dept. and Dime. It’s an all-canvas overhaul for the 2001 model, sporting a subtle pre-distressed profile highlighted by the chalky finish on the midfoot branding and pre-loved conditioning on that textile material.

Of two SK8 Hi Reissue colorways, one continues the lightened atmosphere of the Rowley, sporting a “Bone White” adornment contrasted by deep brown embroidery for the Sidestripe. It’s worth noting that Notre plucks the Vans’ “Reissue” model for this execution; though the shape remains true to the Sk8 Hi we all know and love, the subhead indicates some more experimental materials, and the shaggy suede toe-box and eyestays deliver on the promise. To close out, it’s essentially a palette swap for the “Raven” pair, utilizing a heavy dose of navy with periwinkle contrast down the throat of the shoe.
