Andrew Rizzo The Nike Air Max Dn continues to surface in new colorways for Holiday 2024, now presented with “Dusty Cactus” accents atop a black base.
The accent shade plays an impactful role here, gracing the Air bubbles, upper silicone detailing, and midfoot and heel TPU structures. Nike released an awfully similar “Hyper Cobalt/Rage Green” colorway earlier this year, although this latest pair doesn’t feature gradient treatments underfoot. Notably, the black and teal palette leveraged here might be intended to evoke Ken Griffey Jr’s signature Air Max shoes, all of which boast likeminded Seattle Mariners colorways. Nike designers are the only ones who can say for sure, but the fact that the Dn has clearly been embracing Air Max Plus and Air Max 97 aesthetics serves that notion well.
