Matt Varga Anti-Hero and Nike SB’s latest collab is just around the corner, bringing together takes on the Nike SB Dunk High and the Nike SB Blazer. We’re getting a first look at the latter with official images.
The overall arrangement is rather simplistic, utilizing olive suede as the base, a matte plum sole underfoot, and flares of neon yellow through the branding notes. Those pieces arguably offer the most intrigue, stamping Nike SB and Anti-Hero on opposite collars in the San Francisco brand’s trademark typeface. Look to the outsole for some final flashes of color, with blurry abstract imagery poking through herringbone traction.
Using the GT build is a tacit way for Anti-Hero to flex its status in SB lore. A longtime sponsor of the legendary skater, Anti-Hero utilized heavy input from both Taylor and the equally canonical Brian Anderson for their last collaboration on the Nike SB Dunk High. With the latter teasing on social media that he’s been filming with the Nike SB team, perhaps there’s a similar story at play with this two-pack, but we’ll have to wait for official word to get an answer either way.
