Stand up, Atlanta, this one’s for you. Deion Sanders’ signature Air DT Max ’96 is finally supplementing its retro run with an NFL-inspired colorway, tributing the birthplace of the dual-sport athlete’s pro football career. This marks the first non-Colorado colorway we’ve seen thus far (discounting the OG “Varsity Maize”), opening the door for more looks inspired by Sanders’ various NFL and MLB teams.

The shoe features a stealthy black and grey mix up top, with red accents cropping up on the lining, mini Swoosh logos, and heel “#21” text. Notably, Sanders didn’t sign with Nike until 1992 and began his NFL career with the Falcons wearing Mizuno cleats. The Air DT Max ’96 didn’t arrive until 1996, obviously, but the storytelling executed here is strong regardless.

As mentioned, the Air DT Max ’96 “Falcons” releases November 15th via Nike SNKRS and retailers. Enjoy detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Nike shoes.
