Original article published on November 15th, 2024:The Teddy Santis-designed New Balance FW24 “Made In USA” collection ends with the New Balance 998. Here we have the “Incense” colorway, one of two November 2024 arrivals alongside the “Navy.”

Vintage aesthetics loom large on the tongue, which differs greatly from your average 998 when it comes to both materials and branding. Traditional pebbled leather is dropped in favor of smooth fabric and exposed foam, complemented by a throwback New Balance 998 tag. Light blue lining comprises the interior of the shoe, balanced out by yellow hits around the heel and toe box. The quarter and toe overlay, meanwhile, appear in premium tan nubuck.

The New Balance 998 “Incense” retails for $210 and is available now via Todd Snyder. If you’re unable to cop, a newbalance.com release expected to occur in late November 2024. See official images below and take advantage of the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” section if you’re set on picking up a pair.
