Air Jordan 5 “Luminous Green” Releases July 5th, 2025

One of many releases to mark the model's 35th anniversary.

Air Jordan 5 “Luminous Green” Releases July 5th, 2025

2025 will be Jordan Brand’s busiest year in recent memory, with retros and all-new formulations comprising an already jam-packed 2025 Jordan Release Dates calendar. The latter category now grows by one with news of a “Luminous Green” Air Jordan 5 for women, currently earmarked for July 5th of next year.

Sneaker Files reports a color palette of “Sail/Luminous Green-Anthracite,” but as is typical for early previews of this nature, the shoe’s materials and color blocking remain a mystery for now. The mockup above shows a potential outcome, taken with a crisp leather base, “Anthracite” lining, and “Luminous Green” on the shark teeth underfoot. It’s important to note that a handful of preceding “Luminous Green” Nike shoes have featured glow-in-the-dark treatments, but that’s not necessarily guaranteed here. Official images will afford a more in-depth breakdown as we creep closer to a release.

The “Luminous Green” is one of two women’s AJ5s releasing in Summer 2025, joined by a yet-to-be-unveiled “Metallic Gold/Brilliant Orange” colorway. The Michael Jordan signature will also see a “Black Metallic Reimagined” release as well as Jordan 5 Grape and Jordan 5 Fire Red retros during its 35th anniversary year.

Back to the sneaker at hand, the women’s Air Jordan 5 “Luminous Green” retails for $200 and will release via Nike and retailers on July 5th, 2025. Know that this page will update with official images and in-hand product shots when they become available over the coming months.
