Reebok Links With Sonic The Hedgehog For Capsule Ahead Of Movie Premier

With Sonic The Hedgehog 3 poised to drive families to the box office this December, the iconic video game turned movie franchise is linking with Reebok for a capsule featuring shoes for kids and adults alike.

As is almost always the case when it comes to these sorts of releases, each shoe is inspired by a specific character. Sonic himself overtakes the Reebok Floatzig 1 ($140), the brand’s tentpole everyday performance runner, crafted with a blue mesh base and red outsole to match the character’s shoes. Meanwhile, Sonic’s friend Knuckles stakes claim to a Club C Revenge ($100) featuring a hairy suede upper and cone-shaped spikes on the heel portion.

Those two shoes will be released in adult sizes, while the kids slate consists of five even more playful options. Our protagonist gets a Zig ‘N’ Glow (PS, $65) and Zig Dynamica (GS, $65), the former of which glows in the dark. Tails gets a Classic Leather Step ‘N’ Flash (PS, $65) and Classic Leather (GS, $65) featuring suede “ears” in the back, while Knuckles rounds out the collection with another Club C (PS, $60).

The Reebok x Sonic collection arrives via reebok.com and select retailers on December 6th, well ahead of the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 premier on December 20th. See detailed images of some of the shoes being offered below.
