The success of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is entering rare territory. An extremely healthy dose of new colorways means it rivals staples like the Dunk and Air Force 1 in sheer quantity released in 2024. While that’s been achieved by previous belles of the ball like the Roshe Run or Huarache during their respective heydays, the further we get on, the more it seems that the retro model will surpass them in staying power.

Comprehensive, all-over looks like the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Elemental Pink” is part of the reason we’re betting on that outcome. While chromed-out editions triumphant by embracing Y2K trends, a tonal colorway like the one featured here isn’t as tied to “momentary” aesthetics and has a broader demo as a result.

To get a bit more granular about what this shoe has to offer, the rosy hues are dominant, but white flares on the tongue, laces, and underlying mesh allow for slight interruptions. Additionally, the”Sail” tonality on the midsole brings a bit of faux-vintage flair, upping its street-style appeal.
