Nike Calls “Armory Navy” Onto The Air Max 1

Nike traditionalists will tell you that some of the best Air Max releases are ones that work off original colorways, and that’s especially true when it comes to the Air Max 1. The 1980s-born “Sport Red” set the tone, and now nearly four decades later, the Beaverton brand continues to embrace a formula of white and grey with an accent color on the Tinker Hatfield classic.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Here we have an “Armory Navy” colorway featuring familiar color blocking and a series of texture swaps. The mudguard and Swoosh are comprised of leather, while the quarter and heel panels feature light grey suede.
