Original article published November 27th, 2024: The next Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache isn’t like the rest. While the London streetwear brand’s first two efforts featured leather uppers, their third and final touch-up delivers a total texture swap to black pony hair.
An image posted to X by @uppersnkrs reveals the sneaker in full. Much like the Olivia Kim x Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” from 2019, the top half of the shoe is outfitted in faux black pony hair for a chic, animalistic aesthetic. The toe box introduces a protruding Swoosh to the mix, while the synthetic nylon underlay portions add a splash of dark camo.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache “Black Pony Hair” retails for $210 and is likely to release exclusively through crtz.xyz this December. Stick with us while we keep our ears up for a firm date.
