Drake’s Nike NOCTA Air Force 1 “Love You Forever” Is Returning In December

The OVO rapper circles back to 2021.

Drake’s Nike NOCTA Air Force 1 “Love You Forever” Is Returning In December

Safe to say, it hasn’t been a picture-perfect year for one Champagne Papi. Lawsuits and public feuds aren’t nearly enough to slow down the NOCTA Nike enterprise, and the duo is set to revive one of their first link-ups, stepping back to staple Beaverton models rather than signature Drake shoes. A re-release of the NOCTA Air Force 1 “Love You Forever” is on the docket, returning in its OG white this December.

Much has been made about ultra-simplified AF1 collaborations, particularly in the wake of the Lil Yachty Air Force 1, and Drake’s version is arguably the progenitor of the “Utopia,” “Eternal Atake” and associated album-centric releases that make up that crop. Case in point, the only changes to the Air Force 1 “Love You Forever” up top are the embroidered sword logos on the heel and embossed titular script in place of the typical Air text. Looking underfoot reveals the central selling point, as the stars in the sole swap to mini-hearts per the rapper’s “Certified Lover Boy” record.

The retro effort is listed on European release calendars for December 11th, the latest in several restock efforts over the years that have kept the Drizzy fanbase well-fed. Note that this is presumably separate from the Drake Air Force 1 “Citron Tint” and Drake Air Force 1 “Cobalt Tint,” each part of a pastel pack expected later down the road. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for additional updates, including whether that European date is reflected stateside and/or globally.
