Nike NOCTA Air Force 1 Low “Cobalt Tint” Releases On December 11th

Updated December 2nd, 2024: Retailer images of Drake’s Nike Air Force 1 Low “Love You Forever” in “Cobalt Tint” have been uploaded. These are currently expected to drop on December 11th, 2024.

Original article published September 6th, 2024:

As Champagne Papi gets back on course after what most would describe as a rocky summer, his footwear output is an integral piece of the puzzle. His Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 is steadily returning to shelves with “Opti Yellow” and the upcoming “Triple Black” Hot Step 2, bringing back the energy around his latest signature. Now, it seems we’re primed to receive a different set of Drake shoes entirely as he dips into his archives for next year, bringing back his “Love You Forever” Air Force 1.

The full upper of this Air Force 1 Low is slightly modified to a pale blue, while the outsole adopts a translucent sheen that contrasts the original shoe’s matte layout. The collaborative notes from that 2022 pair remain, with the typical Air text on the sole unit replaced with “Love You Forever” script, initially intended to reflect Graham’s love for his mother. The Nike Air at the heel is swapped for the trademark NOCTA logo, and perhaps the most unconventional touch, outsole stars are instead replaced with mini hearts.

Given this shoe’s overall resemblance to a mainline Air Force 1, its target audience remains those with appreciation for the finest of details, or the most ardent Drizzy devotees. The original pair was created to commemorate the OVO MC’s “Certified Lover Boy,” and while it doesn’t appear this shoe carries the same synergistic ties, it does speak to the enduring strength of the Drake x Nike relationship. Expect a $160 retail price upon arrival; you can check out further “first look” images included just below.
