Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design will answer the call by launching the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon back into the hungry market. With retro runners atop many wanted lists, the iconic 1997 running shoe heralded for its uber-comfy full-length Zoom Air unit is poised for a long-awaited moment.
The retail versions of the Fragment Spiridons features the silhouette dressed in an all-black colorway with white text lettering and medial swoosh and an alternate execution that stands adjacent to the classic Fragment Design colorway. This Friends & Family version, however, leverages the former and adds a metallic finish inner check as a nod to the model’s original design cue.
Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns was recently spotted wearing the limited pair, matching an all-black sweats outfit as he boards a flight as the Suns embark on the road trip. Booker struck up a camaraderie with Hiroshi earlier this summer as the two met up in New York City after the Paris Olympics.
Below is a look at the Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon releasing to the public this month on December 5th.
