As the Air Jordan 11 is wont to do, the color-blocking of this pair is relatively simple, offering the darkest edition of the shoe this side of the “Cap and Gown” with the titular aquamarine tinting the outsole and Jumpman. A dose of bright yellow on the “23” heel branding and Jordan spell-out text on the tongue round out a tri-tone arrangement.
A Brief Lookback At The Original Air Jordan 11 “Gamma”
As an aside, the colorway came about during the true heyday of the Holiday Jordan 11 drop, a time when sneaker campouts, particularly ones centered around the model, made major news on a regular basis. At the time of writing, the expectation is that the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma” will slot in as the yearly AJ11 release at the tail end of the year, a theory bolstered by the December release date already reported. Though retail pricing isn’t confirmed just yet, the 2024 Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” is instructive here — anticipate that same $230 sticker price or potentially higher.
