While we’ve been tracking Nike Valentine’s Day 2025 releases for the past few weeks as official images have hit the ‘net, the Swoosh got ahead of one of the more standout colorways we’ve seen so far, themselves revealing the Nike Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day.”
Most obvious on first glance is the always-reliable palette of pinks and reds, a limitation that extends throughout Valentine’s Day offerings and one that host Jinx Williams knowingly acknowledged during this pair’s reveal. Despite the top notes of this shoe being recognizable, anodized finishes across each panel, alluding to heart-shaped balloons gifted on the holiday, help this one stand apart from a crowded field. Additionally, chalk heart idioms and turns of phrase run down the laces — including what seems to tongue-in-cheek “it’s not me, it’s you” text.
