The Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” releases on December 14th in full family sizing, with a price breakdown as follows: mens’/adults’: $230, GS: $185, PS: $100, TD $85, infants’: $70. Last released in 2014, the pair is the fourth retro of the OG “Columbia” colorway, first released in 1996 and then retroed five years in 2001.
As the yearly “Holiday Jordan 11” for 2024, this is expected to be one of the most significant releases out of Jordan Brand all year. It’s that time of year — when the sneaker world all turns their attention to the Air Jordan 11 for the Jumpman’s holiday release. With the “DMP/Gratitude” and “Cherry” arriving in the two years leading up to this release, the “Legend Blue” 11 marks the first OG colorway to line the December shelves since 2021’s “Cool Grey,” preceded then by the “Bred” in 2018. Though it may not carry the “Columbia” subhead that it arrived with in 1996, trust that the UNC championship DNA that propels this release remains intact; a sleek white base and titular light blue trim on the outsole, Jumpman, and tongue deliver that winning DNA.
Though this caps off the bulk of the Jordan Brand slate, a handful of drops are still squeezed into the last few weeks of December to look forward to. Travis Scott’s Jordan 1 “Velvet Brown” and the Air Jordan 12 “Blueberry” stand out in that pack of remaining 2024 releases. Perhaps more notable, however, is that release queues up the already much-discussed 2025 slate, with the Jordan 3 “Black Cat” beginning the festivities just a few weeks following the launch of the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue.”
