Stadium Goods Brings A Chenille Star To Their Bape Sta Collab

An uncommon sight, Stadium Goods dips into the collab world

Stadium Goods Brings A Chenille Star To Their Bape Sta Collab

On top of being a staple in the sneaker consignment market for years, Stadium Goods is liable from time to time to dip their toe into crafting some of the pieces they stock. Teaming up with BAPE brought them their splashiest link-up in that regard, and some three years after that collection launched, the two are joining forces once again for the “Varsity Blues” collection.

Inspired by blacktop basketball courts and “high school hallways,” the collection wears that influence loud and proud, particularly striking on the Bape Sta in question. A navy blue leather and fabric foundation is interrupted in striking fashion by a textured Chenille Star logo in sunny yellow. To close out, an off-white, faux-aged midsole evokes a storied atmosphere, perfect for the vintage lean of the collection as a whole. Alongside the STA, the capsule ushers in two colorways each of tees, sweatpants and hoodies sporting co-branded detailing, swapping between the store’s spell-out and emblem logos. Fittingly, a varsity jacket rounds out the offerings.

The Stadium Goods x BAPE collection releases on December 13th via StadiumGoods.com, BAPE.COM, and Farfetch.com. Retail is set at $299. Limited quantities of the STA and apparel will be available via Bape and Stadium Goods in-store locations.
