The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low Appears In “Rattan”

Another unique texture for the boot-like re-imagination.

The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low Appears In “Rattan”

The controversial women’s Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn is authoring its next chapter as a low-top in 2025. Following detailed images of an upcoming dark pony hair edition, Jordan Brand is keeping with its textural exploration with a “Rattan” pair, shown here via official images.

Playing off New York’s longstanding infatuation of Timberland Boots and the like, the chunky Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low assumes a fitting palette of light and dark tan shades. To the uninitiated; the “Rattan” name derives from materials used on wicker furniture, baskets, and rugs among other household items. While the “Rattan” Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low assumes a palette similar to the natural material, the texture used looks more like snakeskin leather than anything. The “OG” Jordan 1 Low cut serves as the starting point up top, enhanced by a metallic silver wings logo on the heel and another reinforcing piece of metal on the toe. The sole, meanwhile, wholly drives Mike’s first signature into the avant-garde niche through its oversized construction, pattered edges, and boot-like tread.

The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low “Rattan” retails for $160 and is expected to release during the Spring 2025 shopping season. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more upcoming releases.

Speaking of which, the Black Cat 3s are landing in full family sizes on January 11th.
