Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 17 “Easy Money” Is Poised For All-Star Debut

The most colorful pair yet for mid-February is here.

Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 17 “Easy Money” Is Poised For All-Star Debut

From the heralded Producer Pack to the viral KD 17 “Aunt Pearl”, Kevin Durant’s latest Nike signature shoe is as relevant as it is high-performing. For the upcoming All-Star Weekend, an event that KD will undoubtedly be a part of, Nike has prepared the KD 17 in fitting form, draping the upper in a variety of colors the reflect global currency.

Inspired by Durant’s chill and laid back moniker, the “Easy Money” KD 17 features a rainbow-like upper gradient that involves shades of purple, pink, green, blues, and more. These colorful tints are often seen on bills used across the world, but the design team at the Swoosh has created a mock currency that features his 35 jersey number and his bust at the center.

A similar approach was utilized for last year’s KD 16 “All-Star”, which also employed a unobstructed blast of colors with an infusion of cash.

Official Nike release calendars currently have these marked as a January 16th release, but given its involvement in the mid-February exhibition, it is very likely that these KD 17s will launch next month.
