Nike Uncovers “Desert Khaki” On The Air Max 95

An unconventional edition as the silo celebrates 30 years.

Nike Uncovers “Desert Khaki” On The Air Max 95

Nike has a ton already planned for the 30th anniversary of one of their most iconic designs. The Air Max 95 “Neon” and Air Max 95 “Pink Foam” comprise the high-heat bring-backs we know of at this stage, but as always, a slew of mainline drops will occupy the space in between.

With the just-unveiled “Desert Khaki” edition, we see a sharp departure from the tone-on-grey configuration of those two beloved releases. While the same overall neutral shading remains, it’s an earthier turn, additionally bucking the gradient look that so often defines the silhouette. In its place, beige siding is interrupted by stripes of off-white and light grey, each of those accents mirrored on the sole unit underfoot. Especially in this antique-shaded palette, it’s hard not to think of the Air Max 95 “Erosion” as well, each playing out the archaeological motifs that went into the model’s conception.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Desert Khaki” is coming soon to shelves, retailing for $175. Watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for additional updates in the coming weeks, or simply enjoy the suite of detailed images ahead.
