Jjjjound has officially announced the release information for their New Balance 993 “Mushroom”, setting off what is expected to be a comeback year for the running model that debuted in 2008.
Once again, the Montreal based label exemplifies the “less is more” spirit with thoughtful execution. Never overdoing it in terms of color selection, Jjjjound applies an attractive and familiar shade of brown to the upper suede and mesh, pairing it with darker quarter overlays, black trimming, and a clean white on the midsole and laces.
While straightforward and deceptively bland in its description, this latest Jjjjound New Balance release has garnered heavy favor from its fanbase due to its resemblance to their first-ever collaboration — the 990v3 from way back in 2018.
