Where To Buy The Nike LeBron 22 “What The Monopoly”

The Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22 series concludes on January 23rd with the release of the “What The” colorway. This is the third and final men’s colorway, arriving in the wake of “Currency” and “Token” editions. Our “Where To Buy” section below contains purchase links; the shoe will be available via nike.com as well as retailers like Dick’s and Sneaker Politics, retailing for $200.

The “What The” Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22 features a symphony of colors inspired by the iconic board game, including its fake bills, bonus cards, and various properties. It’s a “What The” sneaker through and through, with nearly every element on the left and right shoes taking a different color (save for bright green-ish yellow on the tongue and lining).

Separate tie-dyed canvas panels are utilized on the lateral and medial sides, coming to a helm over the toe box for a disruptive color clash. The tips of the Swoosh logos appear in Boardwalk-esque blue, nodding to the most valuable real estate plot in the game, while the stitched LeBron signatures over the heel take after the game’s Chance and Community Chest cards. Diving into some of the more finite details and branded touches, the medial side of the midsole tributes LeBron’s jersey number with a set of dice showing two and three. Monopoly currency symbols appear in the triangular tongue logo, complemented by Monopoly logo tags around the lateral Swooshes.

Budget to land on Luxury Tax if you’re looking to cop; these retail for $200, which is $20 more than your average LeBron 22. As mentioned, the “What The” Monopoly x LeBron 22 releases January 23rd via nike.com and retailers.
