Nike Coats The Air Max DN8 In “University Red”

The evolution of Nike Air is ready to take its next big step with the arrival of the Air Max DN8 in Spring 2025. Flaunted by Victor Wembanyama And CeeDee Lamb in Paris earlier this year, the model builds off the Air Max Dn with full-length Dynamic Air chambers and an even more futuristic design language. We’re expecting new colorways to surface steadily throughout 2025, the latest of which is this “University Red” option for women.

Eyes are first drawn to the wavy, Air Max 96-esque cutouts that appear on the sides, which connect the upper and midsole with a light to dark red gradient. The rest of the shoe’s synthetic upper opts for “University Red,” including the TPU portions that make up the toe cap and heel counter. The midsole comes painted in dark maroon, progressing the gradient executed up top, complete with eight Dynamic Air chambers that vary in PSI for a comfortable ride.

The Air Max DN8 retails for $190 and will officially debut via Nike SNKRS on February 6th, although this “University Red” women’s colorway doesn’t have a solid release date at the time of this writing. Know that this article as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will be kept current with any and all updates.
