adidas Superstar Roller Skates Are Rink Ready

Some shoes are so wonderfully “out there” that everyone should be happy they exist, even if they don’t plan on copping. Here’s a perfect example: adidas has transformed the iconic Superstar into a roller skate, available now in women’s sizing via the adidas website.

These are full-on nostalgia trip, transporting us back to the 1970s when roller discos were everywhere and the shell toe was fixture on basketball courts. adidas is coming out with three colorways, including a purple option and shimmery “Metallic Silver” style, but our focus is on this newly-released black and white arrangement. The upper is completely altered in the shape of a high-top skate, placed atop branded wheels and front brake underfoot.

As mentioned, these are available now via the adidas website in women’s sizing. Despite their $200 price tag, sizes are moving quickly. See our “Where To Buy” section below for purchase links.
