Another Grungy Nike Dunk Low Appears

A rough-around-the-edges pair for Spring 2025.

Another Grungy Nike Dunk Low Appears

Nike has cooked up every color combo on the Nike Dunk since the start of the decade, further necessitating printed, patterned and materially modified versions in the following years. The latest to enter the crowd is a Dunk Low sporting grunge distressed overlays, set to hit shelves in the coming season.

As promised, the heel counter/collar panel is where the true intrigue lies, sporting a dusty finish that goes from jet black on the lateral side to sandier beige/grey on the medial. Overall, the palette of “Pale Ivory/Dark Smoke Grey/Picante Red” is plenty complementary, that high-alert hit on the tongue standing apart from the neutral aesthetics carried by the rest of the shoe. Closing out the shoe, the central grunge theme crops up again on the Dunk Low insole.

Based on these shots and early info, it doesn’t seem there’s any special story being told a la the CBGB Dunks, rather just an appealing colorways for those who tend towards darker aesthetics. Look for the Nike Dunk Low “Grunge” hitting shelves as a part of Nike’s Spring 2025 offerings, likely retailing in the usual $125 range.
