Kanye West Announces Yeezy Stores Coming Soon On Yeezy.com

Ye pivots to a new venture.

Kanye West Announces Yeezy Stores Coming Soon On Yeezy.com

The saga continues. After Yeezy.com got shut down by Shopify, Ye has now pivoted from using his website for e-commerce to a simple platform to fill in his legion of fans of his next moves. His first announcement: Yeezy Stores Coming Soon.

The official announcement comes with via messy handwriting on the Yeezy website, continuing the low-tech visual direction that Kanye has relied on for his Super Bowl LIX ad.

Ye has often banked on his outlandish and controversial statements to generate public awareness (typically before an album launch), but he crossed the line when his aforementioned Super Bowl ad led viewers to see a t-shirt with a swastika. This came after a series of hateful rants on social media that were directed at the Jewish community.

Despite Shopify no longer willing to work with Ye, he appears hellbent on continuing his Yeezy apparel and footwear business with his new brick-and-mortar venture. There’s no timetable on this next venture, but it will surely be met with some major backlash.
