A first look at the cancelled red pair.

The Friends & Family Nike SB Air Jordan 4 Can Be Yours For $12,000

Updated February 24th, 2024: After revealing itself during NBA All-Star Weekend, the Nike SB Air Jordan 4 for Friends & Family has been revealed in detail. This pair will not release to the public; however, this size 10.5 can be had for $12,000.

In 2025, we’ll see the return of the much-celebrated Nike SB Air Jordan 4, a shoe that many regarded as the best sneaker release of 2023. Recently, we’ve been seeing clearer images of the upcoming Navy pair as Nike SB stockists were gifted pairs during a recent retail summit in Las Vegas.

Alongside the Navy version, there was a second colorway expected for 2025. Bearing the identical color-blocking as the first “Pine Green” colorway, this new version features the classic Varsity Red on the heel plate, midsole, and on the upper. However, it was reported late December 2024 that the red version was cancelled.

In light of the recent surfacing of the Air Jordan 4 SB in blue (dropping in March according to our Jordan Release Dates page), Eric Koston just revealed a first look at the aforementioned red pair. Given his status in the world of skate and at Nike, it makes plenty of sense that Frosty would have a pair given the fact that he was wear-testing the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 crossover long before the launch. The shoes are indeed confirmed to be for Friends And Family only.

Again, this colorway is unfortunately not expected to release in 2025 and is currently just a sample pair in the hands of the skate legend. Below is a mock-up of the shoe, which appears pretty accurate to the sample version.
