Andrew Rizzo With Easter being a hop, skip, and a jump away (pun intended), adidas has hatched a duo of spring-worthy Sambas that are perfect for ringing in the April holiday. The two pastel styles pictured above are available now via adidas.com, both of which command a premium $120 retail price.
Eyes are first drawn to the base layer, which from a distance looks an awful lot like mesh. In reality, the base is actually comprised of leather featuring mesh-like cutouts for a comparable visual texture. The “Tactile Blue” colorway features “Ice Lavender” stripes and laces, while the “Hazy Green” opts for less contrast with “Sky Tint” stripes and laces. Both colorways feature “Off White” leather tongues with metallic silver Trefoil branding, complete underfoot by semi-clear gum soles. Given that the adidas Samba is one of the trendiest sneakers on the market at the moment, we can see these being a big hit at your upcoming holiday outings.
