Snipes And Memorial Brooklyn Tattoo The adidas Superstar

A three-way collab to celebrate NYC's tattooing tradition.

Snipes And Memorial Brooklyn Tattoo The adidas Superstar

It’s undeniable that adidas is placing extra energy on the Superstar in 2025. So far, repositioning the adidas Superstar II at the front of its mainline catalog and ushering in a number of collaborations are the two pillars of this renewed push. Whether it’ll join current lifestyle titans like the Samba or Gazelle remains to be seen, but what’s abundantly clear is that these special makeups have been plenty eye-catching, again the case with the inked-up Snipes x Memorial Brooklyn x adidas Superstar.

Though applied in greyscale, Memorial’s American Traditional style makes a heavy impact on either sidewall, blending together woozy spirals from heel to toe, coyly working in an “NYC” brand that repeats throughout. The additional guiding light from this pair is a “Big Apple” theme, literally manifesting with a fruity hangtag and gilded tongue branding. More abstractly, that concept lends vibrant red and green to the two heel tags. For a final flourish, a number of iconic NYC locales appear on the insole.

The adidas Superstar releases on February 21st via SNIPES online and select in-store locations, retailing for $110. Catch official images below and watch our “Where To Buy” widget below for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
