Devin Booker’s “97005” PE Made For His Inner Circle At Nike

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is honoring his inner circle at Nike with a Book 1 PE dubbed “97005” for the Beaverton, Oregon zip code.

Our regular readers know that the recognition is well deserved. On top of all the ideating, prototyping, and testing that goes into creating a sneaker – let alone a debut signature basketball model – countless PE styles made the Nike Book 1 one of the most heavily-covered shoes of 2024. Moreover, with Nike planning to release early player-exclusives like the “Mowabb” and “Neon” Book 1, the brand’s PE-first strategy is looking more and more like a shrewd marketing move.

The Nike Book 1 “97005” PE, worn by Booker in a dub against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, utilizes the same snakeskin-heavy build as the ultra-limited orange pair that marked the model’s debut. The color is changed from orange to faded pink, with stitched text reading “97005” for the Beaverton zip code appearing at the top of the toe box.

These are exclusive to Booker and his Nike team members, but our Sneaker Release Dates page contains a catalog of Nike Basketball shoes touching down in Spring 2025 and beyond.
