Andrew Rizzo It’s been quiet on the PUMA x A$AP Rocky front as of late, understandably so as the New York artist had been spending much of his time in courtrooms fighting an assault charge. Now that a “not guilty” verdict has been handed down, Rocky and PUMA are getting back into the swing of things with new colorways of the Mostro 3D.
Introduced in “Red/Black” and “Black/Green” gradient colorways in September of 2024, the Mostro 3D is an ambitious reimagination of the standard Mostro racing shoe from 1999, which itself has found its way back into the PUMA mainline. It’s not for everyone, but speaks to the sophisticated, high-fashion aesthetic the A$AP artist is known well by. The 3D-printed slip-on features oversized rubber spikes around the forefoot and heel, complemented by small triangular cones across the rest of the build.
