adidas Dials It Back To 2000 With The Adistar HRMY

A Y2K runner returns with modern touches.

adidas Dials It Back To 2000 With The Adistar HRMY

adidas is reaching back into its Y2K bag with another addition to its Adistar lineup. The Adistar Harmony from 2000 has returned with a new name and new tooling; available now in a red and yellow gradient colorway via adidas.com.

Now abbreviated to the Adistar HRMY, the sneaker plays off a turn-of-the-century runner that was distant memory until now. The updated model features most of the same qualities up top, but the lower half is completely altered with REPETITOR cushioning (which is lighter yet firmer than BOOST, for reference). As a result, the overall height of the sneaker is far taller than the 2000-born model.

Circling back to the upper, the Adistar HRMY features a mesh base, suede mudguard/toe, and TPU overlays that have historically drawn comparisons to the Air Max Plus. Metallic silver stripes appear on both sides, and the toe box features abstract paneling supposedly inspired by flames.

The Adistar HRMY is available now via the adidas website, carrying a box price of $160. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview upcoming pairs by the Three Stripes.
