The New Balance 2002R Makes A “Made In USA” Impression In Grey

Another new grey colorway lands Spring/Summer 2025.

The New Balance 2002R Makes A “Made In USA” Impression In Grey

New Balance loves a grey sneaker, so much so that they’ve created an unofficial holiday surrounding the signature color. Every May, the Boston sneaker brand celebrates “Grey Days” by dressing all its most popular models in tonal makeup akin to core “Made In USA” styles. We’re still a few months removed from this year’s round of releases, but this newly-uncovered New Balance 2002R might factor into the brand’s festivities come summertime.

Light and dark shades of grey trade places across suede overlays, complemented by leather underlays one level down. Reflective New Balance logos appear on both sides, while the midsole comes in white with dark cushioning pods. If you’re out for that “Made In USA” aesthetic but don’t want to pay “Made In USA” prices, this is an equally timeless option at $145. Just don’t expect any upgrades when it comes to materials.

The next grey New Balance 2002R is due out Spring/Summer 2025, potentially arriving in May as part of the next “Grey Days” collection. See detailed images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming New Balance.

In related news, Size? has a trio of retailer-exclusive New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” styles coming soon.
