Come Summer 2025, Dame Lillard will join Derrick Rose as the only other adidas athlete to achieve the latter milestone. After being unveiled at NBA All-Star Weekend, the adidas Dame X is now beginning to emerge via official images.
The Dame X (Dame 10) features a shape similar to the Dame 9, but aesthetically speaking, it’s far more abstract. Wavy stripes span almost the full length of the upper, complemented by mesh underlays and an ultra-padded collar section. This “Core Black” colorway is one of several due out this Summer/Fall, taken with “Iron Metallic” on the stripes and “Ludic Blue” branding on the tongue and heel. As far as performance specs go, the Dame X features a Lightstrike cushioning package underfoot.
While new signature models usually cost more than their predecessors, the Dame X retails for just $90; thirty dollars less than the Dame 9. As mentioned, this “Core Black” colorway is poised to hit adidas.com and retailers this Summer/Fall. See official images below if you’re plotting to cop.
