Gallery Dept. Splatters Paint On The Vans Authentic

Los Angeles streetwear brand Gallery Dept. has another Vans collaboration on the way, and it might be its most sought-after to date. Here we have a Vans Authentic featuring multicolor paint splatter over the toe, set to release March 27th.

The theme is similar to that of the Gallery Dept. ASICS GT-2160 from 2023, which is handily one of the most hyped-up ASICS sneakers of all time (someone dropped over $2,500 on a pair this past January). In addition to the paint splatter, Josué Thomas adds red logos for his record label/creative house “Art That Kills” across a subtly distressed midsole. Black Gallery Dept. logos appears over the insoles, while yellow Gallery Dept. tags are affixed to the canvas. At its core, the off-white canvas upper and blue foxing stripe nod to a timeless GR colorway.

The Gallery Dept. Vans Authentic releases March 27th via otw.vans.com and select retailers worldwide. The MSRP is set at $150, which is a significant price bump from inline Authentics.
