More recently, they’ve reopened the doors to utilizing patterns on the lightweight upper as a nod to the original drops of 1999. This newly revealed pair features a pattern of ovals that clash together with the help of a yellow-to-green gradient, accomplishing a design that communicates speed and precision.
That’s not all: Nike has added a carbon fiber-like textile on the tongue and heel-guard to further radiate that lightweight and speed-focused aesthetic to match the running heritage of the Air Max Plus.
