With multiple product celebrations underway across Beaverton, including the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 and the 35th of the Air Jordan 5, returning to classic hardware has been a talking point throughout 2025. For a model as storied as the Air Force 1, there are multiple eras to pull from in revitalizing past looks for the Uptown, but it would appear that the 1990s are a focus as canvas Air Force 1 colorways are beginning to surface once again.
For the uninitiated, the breezy make-ups seen here harken to the breezy pairs that lined the shelves towards the turn of the century, an aesthetic choice that spread into the start of the 200s before the multi-colored leather do-ups took over as their dominant look. For this modern series, four colorways are on tap, each execute the canvas body whole-heartedly, including on a slimmed-down tongue with exposed stitching at the top. The most notable new hardware note comes with the puffy embroidered Swoosh, but inclusions like hole-punch ventilation at the lower quarter are equally worth attention.
As the Air Force 1 Canvas begins its renewed introduction, Nike is keeping things simple from a palette standpoint, rolling out clean lifestyle looks that top out with, at most, three hues. A “Wheat” adjacent pair, tonal “Dusty Olive,” snowy “Photon Dust/Game Royal” and of course, indomitable “Triple White” will bring the Air Force 1 Canvas to the market.
