As mentioned, much the same way the original NXXT Gen AMPD spins off the shape of the OG Air Zoom Generation, the NXXT Genisus maintains similar geometry yet comes with an upgraded tech package expected of modern basketball shoes, maintaining the titular cushioning but adding a midfoot plate and a breezier mesh upper. The dense geometric patterns and doubled Swoosh seen across all four of these looks are the aesthetic calling card, venturing into eye-catching territory that marks a sharp left turn from the more classical stylings of his first signature.
In kind with that shift, each of the Summer outfits featured here carries vibrant color swatches: “Bright Crimson” and “Barely Volt” pairs issue hi-vis takes. In contrast, the pink and blue editions still carry a warm-weather atmosphere but tone things down when it comes to overall saturation.
