Andrew Rizzo Nike has been diving head-first into the “gorpcore” scene with utility-minded versions of some of their popular models, including a Pegasus 2K5 offshoot called the Pegasus Wave. Now approaching its third season on shelves, the Beaverton is bringing seasonal tones of “Pale Ivory/Pink Foam” to the rugged tech runner.
While “Pale Ivory” and “Pink Foam” take up most of the real estate, black outlining is what makes the sneaker pop. The accent shade appears on all the edges of the overlays, save for the TPU cage. The reinforced, padded base comes in “Pale Ivory,” while a “Pink Foam” midsole transitions naturally into the aforementioned overlays.
