While most commonly spotted in its quintessential black and white leather colorways, the adidas Samba has been steadily cropping up in a variety of non-traditional builds. Swapping leather for nylon has been a go-to strategy across all of adidas’ terrace classics, and that’s exactly the case on this newly-released “Alumina” pair.

Official images reveal titular “Alumina” atop the nylon base, delicately contrasted by white leather everywhere else. Gold branding adds a bit of a premium vibe, and an all-white outsole brings the understated design theme underfoot. If you’re out for a new beater shoe, you’d be pressed to find a more viable option for just $100.
