Andrew Rizzo The never-ending train of soccer club adidas has made a pass through St. James’ Park in Newcastle. Magpies fans can score this black and white adidas Gazelle featuring Newcastle iconography now from the adidas website for $110.
One could suppose that every black and white adidas sneaker is inherently tied to Newcastle, but the newly-released Gazelle stands out with two special touches. The club’s coat of arms logo appears on the insoles, and the “NUFC” logo from the 1980s dots the heel. Gold “NUFC” letting runs parallel with the stripes, complemented by a blue Trefoil over a white tongue. The Newcastle Gazelle comes on the heels of several other club-inspired adidas, including styles for Premier League foes Manchester United and Arsenal.
