Andrew Rizzo The Nike Air Max 1 will be a focal point of this year’s round of Air Max Day releases, arriving in a “Low Poly” style inspired by Donkey Kong Country on March 26th. The Beaverton brand is also coming off a four-colorway capsule with Supreme, and on a far more under-the-radar note, several general release styles have cropped up on the nike.com website.
This newly-released women’s colorway features a white mesh base, “Saturn Gold” suede quarter, and added white mini Swoosh on the lateral side of the toe. The mudguard, Swoosh, and tongue/heel branding all come in black, completing a familiar, no-frills color blocking scheme. Nike is going all-in on Air Max 95 releases for the model’s 30th anniversary in 2025, but we can always count on Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 1 to receive ample supply and demand.
