Matt Varga Air Max month has absolutely lived up to its billing on our side of things. A budding entrant to that well-stocked category is the Nike Air Max 90, unleashing a fresh crop of seasonal editions.
“Copper Moon” is in focus for the silhouette’s latest, the chosen accent shade for the eye-stays, heel cup and Swoosh in a novel spin on the grey-dominant “Infrared” style blocking. To that end, three different steely shades take over this shoe, painting a dark grey mudguard, neutral leather quarter panel and subtle off-white mesh foundation. Pair that with a “Phantom” midsole and it’s almost as if Beaverton creatives reversed and tinted the iconic “Total Orange,” remaining some easily-reached-for sportswear while inching closer to vintage trends.
