First Look At The Nike SB x Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower”

A public release colorway surfaces.

First Look At The Nike SB x Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower”

Though the borders between Nike SB and the rest of Beaverton’s various arms have been somewhat permeable for more than a decade, there’s no denying that the meteoric success of the Air Jordan 4 crossover in 2023 broke the door down for how far skate-tooled reimaginings could go. No doubt due to that, the Nike SB Jordan 4 has been among the best recieved of the year so far, and the impending debut of the Nike SB Air Max 95 is all but guaranteed to follow up that success. Just a day after images of a wear-test sample emerged, the previously leaked “Cactus Flower” pair is coming into clear view.

Much like that stealthy wear-test sample, the overall shape of the shoe appears largely intact from these initial images, though more plush materials utilized through the upper does read as a shift. To that end, this “Cactus Flower” Air Max 95 emphasizes how Nike SB has brought their love for suede materials to the cushioned icon. On an aesthetic level, the initial mock-ups of this shoe are nearly paid off note-for-note: a neutrally-toned gradient plays out through the iconic wavy sidewalls, while pops of the titular “Cactus Flower” pink carry through the eye-stays, Air Max cushioning.

Initial reports had this Nike SB Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower” releasing sometime in the Fall 2025 shopping season, a window that we’ll defer to given no additional updates. Keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for further info, and enjoy the first-look shots included below.
