The Bad Bunny Ballerina arrives as a new model inspired by the adidas Taekwondo; a sneaker crafted for martial artists in the early 2000s. It’s got a trendy slim-soled construction underfoot, complemented by a sleek upper portraying archival qualities through a modern lens. All things considered, the Ballerina is an homage to Puerto Rico and its legacy in dance, music, and the heavy crossover of the two.

Bad Bunny’s “Gold” Ballerina gives off a bit of a Bruce Lee vibe, with black stripes and brown gum soles being the only breaks from the titular color. Pull laces are affixed to the sides of an elastic forefoot, where Benito’s signature blue scribbling appears at the top. An abstract, suede toe overlay coverse a leather base, mirrored by semi-deconstructed suede paneling around the heel. Bad Bunny tapped his drummer Julito Gastón to model the sneaker ahead of its launch, as seen below.

Again; the Bad Bunny Ballerina “Gold” releases March 29th for $120. Scroll back up to our “Where To Buy” section for purchase links.
