Limosine Skateboards isn’t playing it safe with their inaugural Nike SB Dunk collaboration. On the heels of mockups depicting a basketball-inspired sneaker, a first look image posted by @chickenwop_ reveals that the design is actually inspired by football.
Pebbled brown leather spans almost the entire upper, aptly evoking the cowhide texture and color of footballs. The biggest inspiration tip-off appears on the tongue, complete with white football “laces” that move from the toe box to a leather tongue tag. A black mesh sock liner continues the sport-inspired theme, as do screen-printed Swooshes and Limosine Skateboards logos.
No release date for the Limosine Skateboards SB Dunk “Football” has been announced, but a Summer/Fall 2025 arrival seems likely. We’ll update this article as soon as official images crop up.
