Two Shades Of “Madder Root” Reflect On The Air Jordan 1 Mid

Ready for Spring/Summer.

Two Shades Of “Madder Root” Reflect On The Air Jordan 1 Mid

When it comes to gender inclusivity, Jordan Brand has taken major leaps forward. On the Retro release front, several women’s only drops are dedicated to each seasonal collection, as seen in the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Sail/Cement Grey” and the Air Jordan 4 “Aluminum”. However, most of the impact can be seen on its mainstay icons via the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Low silhouettes that continue to dominate the charts.

It’s been a matter of color-blocking by the internal Jumpman team in order to keep the lady shoe-heads excited, and this Summer season a two-toned take of “Madder Root” will be sprouting on store shelves soon. With a hue derived from the natural colors of the Madder plant, this upcoming release aligns with Spring/Summer outfit palettes that will likely skew away from dark tones and into more spritely ones.

This women’s exclusive colorway is destined for a release this season, so expect these to arrive on Nike.com and Jordan retailers for $125. Full updates will come to our Jordan Release Dates page as well as @sneakernews on X.
