Matt Varga Air Max and Nike SB typically are on opposite ends in Beaverton, but recent formulations have entirely reversed that. While the Nike SB Air Max 95 will take up most of the headlines in that regard, you can’t sleep on the Nike SB Ishod 2 or Air Max Ishad, signature athlete Ishod Wair’s hybrid of two defining Nike endeavors. Capitalizing on that “meet in the middle” motif, the Nike Ishod 2 is looking to summer in “Denim Turqouise.”
This edition is most notable for its novel color-blocking. debuting this sort of inner vs. outer break (or top vs. bottom, depending on how you look at it) on the model. Regardless of how you delineate, aquatic “Denim Turquoise” covers the leather in the upper and mesh screen, leaving the suede mudguard and the cup sole underfoot in jet black. Given the breakaway success that the shoe just experienced in its “Silver Bullet” colorway, all it takes for the right color combination for this shoe to escape the inline skate orbit, and perhaps this gives it another chance.
