The Jordan Spiz’ike Low Goes “Brick By Brick”

The Jordan Spiz’ike Low Goes “Brick By Brick”

From the moment Mars Blackmon wore Air Jordans as a Brooklynite, Spike Lee has proven to be one of the most influential figures in the growth of the Air Jordan line. This eventually led to the creation of the Spiz’ike in 2006, a hybrid mash-up that in 2025, continues to be a beloved silhouette in the streets.

Now existing as a low-top, the Spiz’ike has seen a resurgence in fan love since its re-introduction in early 2024. One year later, Jordan Brand continues to pump out solid hits, from the monochromatic “Black Cat” colorway that had its viral moments to the reprisal of the OG Black/Red/Green colorway.

The lifestyle skew continues with this Dark Pony/Canyon Rust colorway, sticking to a near-tonal execution consisting of the earthy red shades. The subtlest of contrast appears on the elephant print on the toe-guard and heel where the adjacent hues collide. Immediately, we recall Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick”, although that collab has a brighter shade of red. Still, it’s a close enough hit to the bullseye.

This latest colorway of the Jordan Spiz’ike Low is beginning to hit Jordan retailers this quarter for $160; stay tuned to our Jordan Release Dates page for up-to-date alerts on availability.
